I got some new bettas today
 It's kinda hard to get good pictures of them, but I'm bringing them back to my dorm room with me after this weekend so I'll try to get some pics of him flaring then. He's a really pretty purpley-blue colour, he's not a solid blue like the first pic makes him look and he's not as pink as in the others, sort of in between. The female (is she a crowntail?) was the only one there and I felt bad for her and brought her home with me...I'm hoping she'll perk up a little soon, she is active and seems generally healthy though.

the male looks great. very good fins.
your female looks like she needs to be fed more shes soo thin. she has quite good crowning so got potential for breeding.

Unfortunately I tried everything and she would not eat for me (she was thin when I rescued her from the store). She passed away yesterday but I will be looking for another one soon, hopefully a better match with my delta male this time.

I will try to look for one, I really have no idea where you'd get them around here though! I've only seen hm males for sale once and I regret not getting one now...when I went back they had the deltas. But I don't know if they'd have females.

Found a nice female, she is the exact colouring of my male, I think these two will make a nice match.
